Return Policy for Products
You may return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by ALPINA within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Items that are opened or returned more than 7 days after delivery shall not receive a refund.

Our Commitment to Privacy

We take customer privacy seriously and do not sell or give out any customer information. We do not keep a mailing list nor distribute a newsletter.

Your privacy is extremely important to us. The trust placed in us by our customers is absolutely essential to our success.

We understand that and do all we can to earn and protect that trust. We do not share your personal information with any outside companies nor collect any information.

Project Management Course Policies
Don't Waste Time! Don't Waste Money!
We do not fool around! ALPINA offers the most effective, innovative Core project management, PMP® Exam Prep and Advanced project management courses available. Our courses use Accelerated Learning Theory and Adult Learning Theory to present more content in a shorter period of time and instill more information and practical techniques than other courses.

Our instructor led courses were developed in accordance with International project management standards, and world-wide best practices. Alpina Project Management courses are taught by PMI certified project managers (PMPs) who are experienced project managers and are excellent instructors. All those who successfully complete the course are awarded a 'Certificate of Completion'.

Course Guarantee

We guarantee success in passing the PMP Exam. If you fail, we will allow you to take the same course again for FREE!

Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation after you submit your registration.
Your registration will not be final until you receive your confirmation letter. Please read your confirmation letter carefully since it contains valuable information. Please wait for your email confirmation before making any airline or hotel reservations.

Register Early
Alpina Project Management courses sell out. We encourage you to register early.

Payment
Payment for all courses must be received at least one week before the course begins to hold your reservation. Changing registrations may create additional fees.

Transfer Policy
A Student may transfer to any other comparable class provided there is space available. There shall be a charge of $75 fee for the change. Transfers must be made 8 days prior to the first day of the course. No refunds will be given for transfer requests made within 7 days of the start of the course.

Partial Absences
Per PMI regulations as stated in both the PMP® Credential Handbook, project managers can earn a Certificate of Completion and claim Contact Hours or PDUs by demonstrating the "successful completion" of courses, workshops, and training sessions. In regard to this PMI policy, a Certificate of Completion will be issued for a given course only if the following conditions are met:
• The student misses an average of no more than one (1) hour of non-break training time per day of the course.

For example, under the multi-day course scenario a student may miss a total of two training hours of a 2-day course, four total training hours of a 4-day course, and so on.

Note that if the conditions above are not met, Alpina will not issue the student a Certificate of Completion—which means the student will not be able to claim Contact Hours or PDUs for the class in question. In addition, not meeting the conditions listed above for an exam prep course (PMP®) will render Alpina's 'Pass the Exam' guarantee for that particular course null and void.

Auditing of ALPINA Classes
ALPINA does not allow auditing of its classes for any reason. Students who attend ALPINA classes are expected to participate to the fullest extent; therefore auditing of a class is not an option. In addition, certified project managers are not allowed to attend an exam preparation course that is based on a certification that they already hold; i.e. PMP-certified project managers may not register for a PMP® exam preparation course. Students who are found in violation of this policy will be removed from the class registration list immediately, and/or asked to leave the classroom immediately if the class has already begun.

Tax Deduction
All expenses of continuing education (fees, travel, meals and lodging) undertaken to maintain and improve professional skills are tax deductible. Consult your accountant about tax deductible expenses.

Recording of Classes
Alpina Project Management courses are copyrighted by RMC Project. Visual and/or audio recording of Alpina courses is strictly prohibited.

Instructors

Instructors are subject to change at any time.

Session Cancellation / Postponement

If for any reason it becomes necessary for Alpina Holdings to cancel a session, it shall offer the following three options to all those who had registered for the session:

a. Refund of the fee paid for the session minus the cost of the PMP Exam Prep material which may have been provided to the participants.

b. Transfer to any comparable class in the future.

c. Registration in an online course and refund of the balance

d. Classes scheduled for a Public/Local Holiday shall be conducted on the first business day following the Public/Local Holiday.
